The Cubs and White Sox will play the final game of the 2009 cross-town classic at U.S. Cellular Field on Sunday afternoon at 1:05PM.
Carlos Zambrano will start for the Cubs. On Thursday, June 18th at Wrigley Field, Zambrano pitched 7 innings against the White Sox, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits in a no decision. The Cubs won the game 6-5 to split the 1st 2 games of the cross-town classic.
John Danks will start for the White Sox. On Wednesday, June 17th, Danks shut down the Cubs by giving up just 1 ER and 5 hits in 7 innings of work. He struck out 9 and got the win in the White Sox 4-1 win over the Cubs.
It has been a fun cross-town series, although not as exciting since both teams have been playing at or below the .500 mark all season long.
