It’s official – Dale Sveum will be the news Cubs manager. The 48-year old long-time coach will get his first full-time gig as a major league manager with the Cubs. Sveum has served as an interim manager, a bench coach, a hitting coach and a 3rd base coach and will get to show off his skills on the north side in 2012.
